ODF is the product of a 2001 merger of the Oklahoma Christian Foundation (OCF) and the Northeast Oklahoma Christian Foundation (NEOCF). ODF holds permanent endowment funds and custodial funds to benefit Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Churches and institutions to support ministry and missions.

The Oklahoma Disciples Foundation (ODF) is a religious, non-profit 501(c)3 organization located in Oklahoma City, OK. ODF is the product of a 2001 merger of the Oklahoma Christian Foundation (OCF) and the Northeast Oklahoma Christian Foundation (NEOCF). ODF holds permanent endowment funds and custodial funds to benefit Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Churches and institutions to support ministry and missions.
These two entities had been serving as the repositories of endowments for activities of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Oklahoma since the 1960s. ODF has continued that work and currently manages over $40 million in assets of more than 100 permanent endowment funds and custodial funds.
ODF is an independent non-profit Oklahoma corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing Christian Church members from all areas of the State of Oklahoma. Daily activities of the Foundation are the responsibility of the small staff: Eric Gray, Executive Director; Dr. Vicki Rose, Operations Consultant; Rev. Dr. Kyle Maxwell, part-time Minister of Faith and Giving and immediate past Executive Director; and Julie Bowers, Director of Operations. ODF also utilizes the services of a local CPA and has annual audits.
ODF employs the professional money management services of Bank of Oklahoma investing pursuant to the Foundation’s Investment Policy. Annual distributions are made to beneficiaries of the funds in accordance with our donors’ directions and intention as well as our policies, including a formal Spending Policy.

Benefits

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits while part-time, temporary and contract employees are not eligible for benefits. ODF recognizes 11 holidays. Full-time employees have the option in participating in the Pension Fund of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ. ODF will provide a contribution.
